Two blades made in the same session from the same billet: a long sword and a companion dagger, sharing a cowhide leather sheath. Because they came out of one billet, their Damascus patterns are relatives of each other — a matching that can't be arranged after the fact.

Sets display better than single pieces. Two blades on a wall give you a composition instead of an object, and the dagger fills the space under the sword that otherwise reads as empty.

Care
