The same 43-inch blade, on a bare hardwood scabbard.

This is the natural-wood version of our triple-fullered fantasy sword. The blade is identical — stainless steel, 43 inches overall, with three fullers cut along its length to catch the light. What changes is the scabbard: hardwood left in its own colour and grain rather than lacquered black.

Which one you want depends on the wall. Black lacquer reads as sharp and modern and disappears against dark panelling. Bare hardwood is warmer, shows its grain, and sits better in a room with wooden furniture or exposed beams. Neither is the upgrade; they're two finishes.

Grain varies. Because the scabbard isn't dyed or painted over, the wood on yours will not match the photographs exactly. That's the trade you make for a natural finish.

Specifications

  • Overall length: 43 inches
  • Blade: stainless steel, triple-fullered
  • Scabbard: hardwood, natural finish
  • Finish: hand-finished throughout

Care

Wipe the blade with a lightly oiled cloth every few months. A wood wax or furniture oil on the scabbard once a year keeps it from drying out. Store out of reach of children.

About our steel

Responsibly sourced

High-carbon and Damascus billets from established mills, chosen for grain consistency rather than price.

Forged, not stamped

Blades are heat-treated and hammered to shape, so the steel keeps its structure through the edge.

Finished by hand

Every piece is ground, etched and sharpened individually. No two patterns come out identical.
