Hand-forged high carbon steel bowie knife with black handle scales, supplied with a fitted leather sheath.
The blade is a classic clip point in the bowie tradition, taken to a mirror polish and fitted with a steel crossguard. High carbon steel takes a keener edge than stainless and is easier to bring back on a stone, which is why working knives are still made from it. It will patina and can rust if neglected, so it wants oiling.

Care
