The sword the Highlands are known for.
The claymore is the two-handed longsword of the Scottish Highlands, and this one is built the way the originals looked: a long, straight, double-edged blade, a cross guard angled forward toward the point, and a grip long enough for both hands to work.
Ours runs 40 inches overall and comes with a cowhide leather sheath. It's finished by hand, which means the grind, the guard and the leatherwork all carry small marks of the person who made them. That's the point of a hand-made piece — it isn't stamped out.
What it's for. This is a display and collector's piece. It looks right on a wall mount, above a mantel, in a study, or on a stand behind glass. It's a common choice for Scottish weddings and Burns Night, for clan and heritage displays, and as a milestone gift where something generic won't do.

Care
Wipe the blade with a lightly oiled cloth every few months, more often in humid air. Keep the leather away from direct heat. Store out of reach of children.
